IF YOU LIKE SHRIMP, SHOW UP!

The articles below have the facts on what's happening RIGHT NOW in the fishing industry. Currently,  the NC Wildlife Federation and the Southern Environmental Leadership Organization are pushing to make all coastal waters secondary nursery areas with the net effect being to close everything out to 3 miles into the Atlantic for shrimping.  It limits shrimpers to 3 days a week and only in daylight hours on ALL coastal waters. If you want to keep eating NC Shrimp, show up on Wednesday, January 17th in New Bern. Let them know how you feel.
